 Sandra Lee Lawson, 64, of 812 Hill City Road, Cranberry, died early Thursday morning, July 22, 2010 at Hamot Medical Center in Erie.Born December 15, 1945 in Oil City, she was a daughter of the late Harold Jack and Amy Elizabeth Oakes Wessell. Mrs. Lawson was a homemaker. On September 27, 1961 she married Hugh E. “Butch” Lawson, Sr., who preceded her in death on May 19, 2007. Surviving are five children, Brenda Lewis of Oil City, Hugh E. Lawson, Jr. of Reno, Kimberly Lawson of Cranberry, Kenneth Lawson of Oil City and Karen Myers of Conyers GA; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; and her life-long companion, Edward Chambers, Sr. Also surviving are 5 brothers, James Wessell of FL, Larry Wessell of IN, Ronald Wessell and Joseph Wessell both of Franklin and Daniel Wessell of Seneca; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, William Jack Wessell, a sister Elizabeth Ann McDonough and three grandchildren. Friends may call at the Morrison Funeral Home on Monday from 4 to 8 pm. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11 am Tuesday with the Rev. Harold Lawson officiating. |
